newsflash, people: i can carry my own ****, thank you very much.

it's not that i can't do or accomplish a task,
it's just that maybe you failed to explain the dynamics properly.
it's not that i can't attend an event,
it's just that sometimes, i want to avoid the people/ conflict within it.

it's not that i can't,
there are just some times that don't want to.

so maybe i have some bouts of bratty-ness.
but really, it's just a matter of choice. my choice.
